Below is a list of some foods that will help in your after workout recovery process which is just as important the workout itself.
- Coconut oil –excellent for endurance, recovery and stamina
- Coconut water – helps with electrolyte and carbohydrate replacement
- Salmon, black cod, walnuts, flaxseeds and chia seeds- contain Omega 3 fats that reduce inflammation
- Whey protein-prevent muscle tissue breakdown and help to support the immune system
