Brent Smothers - TRAINER
A native of Colorado, Brenton was always an active kid and played baseball throughout high school. Soon after high school, Brenton found a new passion, lifting weights. Something as simple as repetitiously lifting heavy things in a prescribed manner not only helped him achieve his physical goals, but also positively changed his life. Since then, Brenton has been passionate about fitness. Later, he went on to be a personal trainer for three years, helping train clients for weight loss, sports performance, and bodybuilding competitions. Additionally, Brenton taught Cycle class for four years.
In 2009, Brenton graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a degree in Human Services and enjoyed his previous work experience working with high risk youth. Eventually, Brenton became a police officer for the city of Lakewood. But, after three years it was time for a change and now works as a firefighter. The new career has given Brenton the time to return to his passion for helping others achieve their own physical goals.
Throughout Brenton's fitness journey, he has trained for bodybuilding, rock climbing, power lifting, Crossfit, and sports performance. Currently, Brenton holds several certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine that include Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, as well as Schwinn Cycle certification.
